There will be failure

Part of the process in building a Skoolie is failure. For one reason or another there will be projects that just don't work. You can get angry and cuss and gripe but the truth is that's just the way life (and skoolies) work.

We experienced one such project last weekend. I spent the better part of two days engaged in metal fabrication to attach a Toyota van seat to our bus's driver air ride pedestal. Technically I got the seat attached and it is fully functional; however, after a short drive it became clear that it is just not going to work. So, I will spend another weekend of metal fabrication removing the air ride pedestal and remaking the entire mounting system.

It won't always be easy, simple, or successful but so long as you learn something and don't give up it should work out just fine.
